The EAA Charter School was conceived in the 2000 /
2001 school year under the leadership of Dr. Lee Siudzinski,
Vice President of EAA Education. The fundamental goals of the
EAA Charter School have been to
improve student learning and motivate students’ interest in
the areas of Science, Math and Technology. EAA Charter School
students demonstrated increased academic performance over
non-charter peers, documented through a research study conducted by Dr.
John Witte from the University
of Wisconsin,
Madison.
In 2005 and 2006
the EAA Charter School was awarded Dissemination Grants
to replicate the aviation education program. Over 350 teachers
were trained to implement the resulting curriculum. Our
Dissemination Grant period ended December 31, 2006. We are
looking for schools, organizations or foundations to fund
adoption of the aviation curriculum and teacher training
program.
